If you love wintertime, this could be the perfect season to get married.
Katherine and Matt’s wedding was in January, and the temperature was briskly 33° on their wedding day. However, snow covered some portions of the patio area outside Ivy House, where the wedding occurred.
I believe snow and an overcast winter day could add a magical touch to the photos, with the snow’s reflection creating nicely lit and soft portraits. While the bride and groom might have a few uncomfortable or chilly minutes, all the beauty this session offers is worth capturing.
Katherine and Matt’s outdoor session was not completed all at once. The couples took breaks every few minutes to warm up.
The Ivy House is a green brick, modern industrial space. The entrance has a beautiful iron gate, and the back
y has an urban, rustic look, with great wall textures and multiple color bricks. The bride has an excellent, rustic room full of charming architectural details to get ready. This location offers excellent options and backdrops for pictures.
