Winter Elopement wedding at Cafe Hollander, Wauwatosa
Hope & Brett wanted a simple, relaxed winter wedding that included close family & close friends. They were expecting 19 guests.
They fell in love with the European-inspired Cafe Hollander in Wauwatosa. They loved the rustic decor and wanted to host their wedding there.
During our initial meeting, we discussed the couple’s vision for the day, the wedding theme, and the timeline. Since it’s a February wedding and the sunset would be around 5:10 pm, I suggested a “first look” followed by the bride & groom’s pictures before the ceremony. Pictures took place outside as well as inside the venue.
The family came earlier to help with the decoration and to turn the space upstairs into an elegant, cozy room filled with beautiful details that Hope and Brett bought from Etsy.
Hope looked great in the wedding outfit she bought online, which included cute white winter boots! Brett’s navy blue velvet jacket worked perfectly with the wedding color theme.
Following the intimate ceremony, we went outside again to catch the sunset and its twilight colors. The street lights and the urban look of downtown Wauwatosa were the perfect backgrounds for those pictures.
