The second annual photo session with VIPerfect occurred on September 21, 2022. It was hosted by Black Cat Alley, a Milwaukee arts destination featuring street art murals on the historic east side. VIPerfect is a non-profit organization that celebrates the uniqueness of individuals with vitiligo. Its mission is to provide support, education, awareness, and advocacy for characteristically unique individuals, their families, and the global community. The photo session was meant to highlight the embracing of the pigment changes that people with vitiligo undergo. Models from Chicago and Milwaukee County participated in the shoot, some as young as 13. For some of the participants, it was their first photo session ever!

VIPerfect is committed to spreading a message of acceptance and celebrating the beauty of all individuals. The second annual photo session in Black Cat Alley was a resounding success in furthering this mission. The photos from the session will be used in various media, including social media campaigns and print materials. David Smulyan, the executive director of the East Side Business Improvement District, was also present at the photo session, which added an extra level of support and recognition for the importance of the event and its message.
