Lee Ann & Devin’s Wedding at Fat Apple Farm – Columbus, WI
This was my second time photographing a wedding at Fat Apple Farm, and if you’re a vendor looking to work with a family-run business, this is the place. The owner’s daughter, Sadie, goes above and beyond for their couples and every vendor involved.
The farm is a photographer’s dream, with sprawling orchards and charming backdrops at every turn. Lee Ann and David had a big, lively wedding party, surrounded by friends and family who made the day full of joy—and plenty of heartfelt family portraits, which the couple adored.
Why Fat Apple Farm?
More than just a wedding venue, Fat Apple Farm offers rustic charm and a peaceful escape from the city. Whether it’s a wedding, shower, or any special event, this family-owned gem provides unmatched hospitality.
Sadie was incredible—keeping everything on schedule, coordinating vendors, helping gather family for photos, and even ensuring we beat the rain for the ceremony. The venue’s team went the extra mile, assisting with setup and pack-up so the couple could relax.
A Day Filled with Emotion & Fun
The first look was pure magic—David, dressed in a sharp navy cowboy jacket with his groomsmen, couldn’t hold back tears. Neither could his mom, who watched from a distance.
The outdoor ceremony was picturesque, and even though rain tried to sneak in, we made it work—capturing portraits beforehand and finishing under the barn’s shaded area. The couple never let the weather dampen their spirits, embracing every moment with laughter and love.
