Kyla and Joe met online and have been together for two and a half years. They started planning their wedding a year ago.

During our initial phone conversation, Kyla mentioned being interested in an outdoor ceremony. She also knew she wanted to stop by the Green Bay Botanical Garden for pictures, one of the best places for wedding photography in Green Bay.

Coming from Milwaukee and not being familiar with all potential locations in the Green Bay area, I had to rely on my colleague’s recommendations for alternatives in case the weather was not cooperative. As always, I must ensure we have fallback options for pictures.

The day started with preparing for pictures at the Hilton Garden Inn-Green Bay.

First Look took place in the lobby of the Hilton Gardens Inn, filled with plants, which was an excellent option for a First Look location.

The bride & groom, the bridal party, and close family members all commuted to the Green Bay Botanical Garden for the formal session pictures.

The ceremony and reception took place at The Marq. The venue has beautiful landscaping and a wild-natured area left for couples who want pictures with a taste of adventure.

The couple said, “I Do,” in the gorgeous outdoor surroundings at the Marq. They choose Joe’s childhood best friend as their officiant. The ceremony was intimate and emotional.

After the receiving line, I wanted to spend a few minutes for more outdoor pictures of the couples at the Marq.

The dancing floor had lovely participants of all ages.
