Monica and Alex’s wedding day was a perfect blend of effortless elegance and joyful celebration. Working with Monica was a breeze from the start—she was organized, knew exactly what she wanted, and kept everything relaxed and fun. With the help of her amazing wedding party and family, the venue (the stunning The Clybourn in Milwaukee, WI) was set up beautifully.

“My mom and I did all the bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages! We bought bulk flowers from various places. Meijers was my mom’s favorite, and where the hydrangeas came from,” the bird’s answer when I asked about the beautiful flowers!! 

Monica got ready on-site, and her first look with Alex was just outside the venue—a sweet, intimate moment before the day’s adventures began.

Portrait Adventure Around Milwaukee

This couple was all about making their portraits unique, so we hopped in the car and explored some iconic spots:

• Federal Building – Clean, polished, and timeless portraits.
• Milwaukee Art Museum – A must for its striking architecture and artistic vibe.
• Veteran’s Park – A quick stop for some natural, lakeside shots.
• St. Joan of Arc Chapel, Marquette University—This was a meaningful location for the couple, where we captured wedding party portraits and some gorgeous solo shots.

Ceremony & Celebration Back at The Clybourn

The heartfelt ceremony was followed by a lively cocktail hour, during which Alex and Monica mingled with their guests, soaking in every moment. Then came the reception, full of dancing, laughter, and pure joy.

This wedding was a true reflection of the couple: easygoing, full of love, and endlessly fun. Cheers to Alex & Monica!
