Chris & Shirley’s wedding.
Chris and Shirley first met on a “sunny but windy Friday”. The two enjoyed their conversation and decided to continue seeing each other since then. A few months after dating, Shirley suggested that Chris go with her to Elmbrook Church for self-growth classes that she used to attend. Together, they went to a series of lessons, which have helped Chris and Shirley learn more about each other and grow deeper in faith and love. Meanwhile, Chris started teaching Shirley golf – which she’s been enjoying.
Chris & Shirley are a detail-oriented couple. They cared a lot about planning their day and truly enjoyed the process. They’ve done a lot of research selecting their vendors and their venues. During our initial meeting, Shirley shared her visions for the whole day and her wedding pictures. Chris mentioned that he has 11 uncles and aunts, and family pictures were also vital for him and his mother.
Getting ready, the first look and the ceremony occurred at the Elmbrook Church.
Chris’s friend offered the couple a ride with his vintage car.
Shirley wanted pictures at the lake by the Milwaukee Pierhead Lighthouse. She wanted to create a picture she envisioned with her flying veil next to the lake. Jing, Shirley’s sister, her wedding videographer, and her helper were there helping with every single issue, and her presence was an absolute delight.
The reception took place at The Legend at Merrill Hills. The bridal party’s pictures were done next to the golf course.
Chris, Shirley, and I snuck outside for sunset pictures at the beautiful golf course.
After the first dance, the father-daughter dance, and the mother-son dance, the dance floor was open to all the guests.
